Miso Soy Glazed Salmon #dinnerrecipe #food #amazingrecipe #easyrecipe

Simple salmon dish with Asian-enlivened flavors! Salmon is topped with a sticky, appetizing and sweet miso soy coat with an umami season. Present with rice and veggies.

Salmon is unquestionably one of my go-to snappy and yummy dinners. Salmon does not take long to cook. Truth be told, cooking salmon for quite a while resembles a wrongdoing. Possibly that is somewhat exaggerated. Cooking salmon over a significant lot of time ordinarily implies over-cooking it. Over-cooking salmon makes the fish rubbery and intense, and in this manner, is a misuse of a decent bit of fish (subsequently, a criminal demonstration… a minor one).

In addition to the fact that salmon is fast to make, the fish itself has profound, dazzling flavors. Salmon is one of only a handful couple of fishes that you can include a couple of straightforward fixings, not overcook it, and it has an aftertaste like a fantasy. Like this Garlic Butter Dill Salmon formula. A DREAM IT IS.

Think about what else is a fantasy? This Miso Soy Glazed Salmon formula. My mystery mission is to make a wide range of salmon plans with every unique herb, flavors and sauces, since this is such a flexible protein to play with. Its characteristic flavors is a culinary specialist's fantasy.

Ingredients

  • 1 lbs salmon
  • 3 tbsp miso paste/ soybean paste
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp mirin
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3-4 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1-2 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Using a blender or food processor, mix together miso paste/soybean paste, soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, garlic and ginger. Alternatively, mince garlic and mix the other ingredients together.
  2. Marinate defrosted salmon with half of the sauce for 30-45 minutes. Set aside the other half to make the glaze later.
  3. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F.
  4. Cooking method 1: Add vegetable oil to cast iron skillet and heat up skillet. When the cast iron is heated up (you should be able to feel the heat), sear marinated salmon non-skin side down for 1 minute. Do not pour marinate to skillet. Flip the salmon over and immediately bring cast iron skillet and salmon into the already pre-heated oven. Cook for 8-11 minutes, depending on thickness of the salmon (see Note 1)
  5. Cooking method 2: Place salmon on a baking tray greased with vegetable oil. Bake marinated salmon for 11-15 minutes (do not pour marinated to baking tray), depending on the thickness of the salmon (see Note 1)
  6. While the salmon is in the oven, bring the sauce that was set aside earlier to a pot, add 1-2 tbsp of water, and bring to boil. Lower the heat and continue to cook sauce/glaze for a minute or so. Glaze should thicken slightly. Remove from heat.
  7. Drizzle some of the glaze onto the salmon. Serve the rest of the glaze as a dipping sauce. Glaze is also good with rice and veggies served along with salmon. Enjoy!
