My family praises the Biblical gala days. While you won't discover Hanukkah in the Bible, it's a Jewish occasion that we appreciate celebrating at any rate. Known as the Feast of Dedication, Hanukkah honors the Maccabean Revolt during the 160s BC, when the Jews reclaimed the Temple in Jerusalem from the Seleucid Empire.

One story related with this banquet is the wonder of the oil. There was insufficient oil to keep the lights consuming, yet by a supernatural occurrence they had the option to make the oil most recent 8 days. That is the reason Hanukkah is praised for 8 days, as well. It's a great time of utilizing the light of the Word for looking through our souls just as rededicating ourselves (our sanctuaries) to the administration of God.

Hanukkah is likewise renowned for topping off on seared nourishments! Latkes and sufganiyot (elegant potato hotcakes freshly broiled in heaps of fat and southern style jam filled doughnuts, individually) are conventional toll.

Hanukkah is popular for browned nourishments like doughnuts. However imagine a scenario in which you're sans grain, keto, a Trim Healthy Mama, or simply searching for a simple solid treat. Conventional Hanukkah admission gets a makeover in this formula: Keto Cinnamon Baked Donuts! They're the best natively constructed Hanukkah doughnuts ever, with without gluten nut flours, olive oil, and a spiced, crunchy sans sugar beating that your whole family, kids notwithstanding, will love.

Ingredients

  • Hanukkah Donuts
  • 1 cup blanched almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup erythritol or other sugar-free alternative such as xylitol
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil plus additional for coating the donuts
  • 1/4 cup pure water or nut milk, plus more if needed for consistency
  • 3 organic or pastured eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Spiced “Sugar” Topping
  • 1/4 cup erythritol or other sugar-free alternative such as xylitol
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease donut pan very well, even if it's non-stick or silicone. Almond flour-based batters are more sticky. Set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together dry ingredients until completely incorporated. Be sure to break up any lumps of nut flour.
  4. In a smaller bowl, whisk together wet ingredients.
  5. Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredient mixture and mix well.
  6. Allow the batter to sit for a few minutes to allow the coconut flour to absorb the liquid.
  7. If batter is too thick, add additional liquid in small amounts until a loose muffin batter consistency is achieved.
  8. Divide batter among the wells in your donut pan. For 12 donuts, use about 1-1/2 tablespoons of batter. If any batter remains, be sure to divvy it up evenly.
  9. Bake in your preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes, or until tops are beginning to brown, bottoms are nicely browned, and donuts are beginning to pull away from the sides of the pan.
  10. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
  11. While donuts are cooling, mix together erythritol, spices, and salt in a small bowl.
  12. Once donuts are cooled, gently remove from the pan by using a thin knife or spreader to loosen, if necessary.
  13. Gently brush each donut with olive oil (or other melted fat of choice) then roll in Spiced “Sugar” Topping.
  14. Enjoy!
