With Summer arriving, I'm generally on the chase for invigorating yet delectable non-mixed beverage formulas. For me that frequently incorporates utilizing mint since it's out and out dazzling on a hot day. One beverage that is known for it's minty flavor is the Mint Julep which utilizes whiskey in the customary mixed drink… as we as a whole realize that is impossible for me so today I've done my best to think of a turn off.

In this formula I've utilized raspberries, mint, basic syrup and soda to make what might be the BEST ever non-alcoholic Mint Julep!

  • 2 teaspoons simple syrup (equal parts water and sugar, cook on high heat until it boils and cool before using)
  • 6 large raspberries
  • 3 mint leaves

  • Mint leaf for garnish

  1. Begin by adding the simple syrup and raspberries to glass and muddle gently (muddle=press down with flat end of spoon or muddler)
  2. Next add mint leaves and muddle to bruise them slightly
  3. Add 2 ounces of Ginger Ale to glass
  4. Fill with crushed ice and add a straw and mint leaf for garnish.
  5. **If you'd like a larger batch which serves 8 - Blend 5 tablespoons simple syrup and 48 raspberries in a blender. Pour the mixture into a jug, add approximately 24 mint leaves and muddle with a spoon. Add 16 ounces of ginger ale to the pitcher and fill pitcher with crushed ice.**
